Mom Looking for Playgroup in Keller

Hey I was wondering if anybody has a great playgroup that we could join. I have a 2 1/2 year old girl. I didnt put her in preschool this yr bc I thought 9 to 2 was too long for her, but socially she really is ready to be around other kids. Just looking for some friends for her to interact with! Let me know, M.

I am new to this site and am also in Keller. I am a SAHM to an almost 18 month old little boy. If anyone is every interested in play dates, send me a message!

Try the NRH Recreation Center. They have a play group at the center and they provide all the games, toys, etc. It's called Big Fun. They also have several programs for kiddos 2+. Half day classes called Terrific Two's, Just for Three's, a half day preschool and it's all so affordable. Just call ###-###-####. Much luck.

There is a Mother's of Preschoolers (MOPS) group that meets at Glenview Baptist Church on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month (not Keller, but very close). They also have mom's nights out and other playgroup times throughout each month. If you are interested, email me and we get you some more information.

Hi M.!

A playgroup is a great way for your daughter to interact with other kids - and for you to interact with other adults. I know I struggled with the same issue - last year and I've found a great playgroup for both my children and myself. Although I am not from the Keller area - there is a fabulous website where you can find playgroups in your area.

Best of Luck!

Mothers and More just opened a new chapter in Keller. THe ladies are WONDERFUL. Check out mothersandmore.org and do a search for Keller. I have not been on the main page in a while, if Keller is not listed yet (they just launched last month) ask the welcoming coordinator in the Lewisville chapter and she will be happy to get you to the right people!

Keller Early childhood pta is a good one. It is larger and lots of chances to meet new people and children.

I'm in a Moms club: Moms of Keller-West. It's great, we not only have playgroups, but we have Kids day out, Moms night out, Hoot n Howl (Husbands Out Of Town or Husbands Out Working Late)and a Walking Support Group (moms on the move) we meet on the first Friday of the month. There is child care provided for these meeting, your child is welcome to stay with you, there is a different speaker each month. Please feel free to contact our Welcoming Coordinator Marcie Hunt ###-###-#### ____@____.com this helps some.
