So, does anyone know of a networking/brainstorming/blowing-off-steam group for "mom"trepreneurs? Live or online, it would be nice to chat with other business moms.

Hi!

I have a couple of networking groups on CafeMom I'd love you to check out and join!

They are:

http://www.cafemom.com/group/dfwwahm

http://www.cafemom.com/group/wahmideas

I also belong to lots of yahoo shop&grab groups and spree groups that you might like if you are interested in these, send me a pm with your email and I will sen you a list!

Some good networking Yahoo groups:

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/socialpreneuers

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/HomeBusinessCorner

If you join one of the yahoo group, please tell them L. Iezzi reffered you - there are often incentives for referrals!

I also have a friend who just started a new networking website. It is http://www.societyofsocialpreneuers.com
If you join, again - please put me down as your referral.

Like I said , if you are interested in Spree groups or Grab&SHop groups let me know - I have a great list!

Also a good in person networking site is www.joyofconnecting.com. They have monthly meetings in person - there are several chapters all over DFW - if you go to the site it will direct you to the right one.

You can also find live groups in your area on www.meetup.com.

I hope this helps!

Send me a pm if you have any questions!

L. Iezzi

Check out www.TheJoyOfConnecting.com! It is a great network of women-only-owned businesses and a great way to network. Check out which one is closest to you and contact them to see if you can attend as there is only one person per industry allowed. If your industry is already filled, get on their waiting list to be contacted and see if there is another group you can go to. They meet once a month and the cost includes dinner. I have made many new wonderful friends and done a lot of business referrals through this! Good luck!!!

Ok, I will give the 3rd great recommendation to look into the Network of Enterprising ____@____.com

All members are in the same boat of juggling working and motherhood. BUT it is unique in that it is specifically targeted to meet the specialized needs and challenges of working mothers who are either entrepeneurs, self-employed or work for a home-based business. They are a fantastic group of women, who are highly-motivated to grow thier business and connect/network with like-minded women who brainstorm, support each other, and yes, on occassion... blow off steam :)
They meet once a month in Frisco. Check them out!

I have to say the www.ntxnew.org is a great group of women, who all understand what it takes to run a business from home and with little ones.

They have monthly meetings (with babysitting) too.
