We don't do anything special. My husband is working so I'll probably take the kids to a movie.
I'm getting my cars oil changed.
We don't do anything special - just enjoy a day off work/school.
We are going to an exhibit at the library about MLK Jr, and doing some homeschool activities to commemorate the day. :)
In a very related radio clip, I just heard this again (from NPR, about MLK day) and it made me tear up (again):
We always go to Applebee's for dinner. Vets eat free.
when we were homeschooling we did some MLK study or field trips or activities.
i confess i don't do much of anything to commemorate it now.
