Miracle Baby Olivia Grace

My request is simple. My daughter Tiffanie has just had her first baby 14 weeks premature on January 18. Olivia Grace weighed 2 lbs 1 oz at birth and is 13.4 inches long. She was having severe respiratory difficulties after she was born and was placed on an occilator type of ventilator which keeps a constant flow of oxygen at a quick fluttery type rate to maintain lung inflation She is now on a less intense ventilator and is much improved. She will be spending the next 3-4 months in the NICU in order for her to grow so she can go home. Please pray and send positive thoughts her way. My tiny little granddaughter and daughter need all the kind thoughts and support anyone would like to share. Thanks so very much, K.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thank you to everyone for all of your kind thoughts and prayers. Olivia has started to gain weight and they have been reducing the settings on her ventilator as she is doing much better with her oxygenation. They also have resumed giving her breast milk via a tube to her tummy. She is 2 weeks old today.

I will pray for baby Olivia to grow big and strong and be healthy, and for her Mother to find comfort knowing her baby is loved and the NICU nurses give great love and care to those special babies.

I will definately keep your daughter and new grand daughter in my prayers!
