It depends on the condition, but for the most part I think FDA approved prescription medication is better than homeopathic remedies which have not been tested in clinical trials so you do not know about long term side effects and safety. Also, they are not regulated by any regulating agency so you really don't know what you are getting.

It really depends on the ailment. Infections - definitely anti-biotics. Fevers - ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Congestion - I use a neti pot with a saline solution. Sleep time - a little lavender can help. Research different solutions and go with what you feel is best. It is also a good idea to have a pediatrician that is open to homeopathic remedies otherwise they may discourage your views.

It depends on your personal convictions, but I'd say a good balance is really the best. People that are strictly homeopathic can (in my opinion) be puting their children in danger. But the same could be said for people that feed their kids perscription drugs for every little sniffle. I'd say do some research and stay away from people that are extreme one way or the other.

Also, keep in mind that "all natural" does not in any way mean "safe."

I feel it really depends on what it is being taken for. If you have a really bad infection, cancer, etc. I would use a prescription. I would be more likely to try homeopathic as more of a preventative. However, it also would depend on what the remedy is you are using. Since they are not regulated, they may not be as safe as some make them out to be.

Depends on the problem , depends on the medications. Even homeopathic medications have side effects and can be dangerous, plus they aren't regulated like OTC or Prescription meds. Food is the best medicine, so all natural, a variety, and organic where possible. I also love the yobaby yogurts, the probiotics in them are awesome !
