Maternity Clothes - Swarthmore,PA

Hi Mom's

I live in Ridley Twp, Delco and was wondering if anyone knows of any thrift or consignment stores to buy maternity clothes. I need some shorts and really don't want to pay all that money buying new, to only wear them for another 6 weeks. Thanks All!

What can I do next?

I would try Goodwill. There is Once and Again consignment shop on MacDade next to Roy Tweedy's but I'm not sure if they sell maternity.

Have you ever checked out www.kizoodle.com ...it's like Ebay but with Kizoodle points instead of cash. I was looking on there earlier and they had some.

There is a maternity consignment shop in Montgomeryville, PA called Frogs and Butterflies. It is up North 309 and you get on 202 for just a few minutes. It is far from your house but it is the only one I know of. I bought a bunch of stuff there when I was pregnant because I felt the same way about buying clothes to only wear for a few months!!!
Good luck.

I can't help with consignment, but I recommend Old Navy, Target or Kohl's. All will have stuff pretty inexpensive -- maybe even less than consigment. I was in your same boat, I needed just a few summer things. I found some things that didn't have the belly panel, and I was able to wear them after the birth, too. One pair of capris I still wear, a year later! So don't think its necessarily a waste of money.

GOOD LUCK and HAPPY DELIVERY!

Try Kid to Kid in Drexel Hill...I had luck there when I was pregnant.

You can also try Goodwill on MacDade Blvd and also Once and Again Consignment Store on MacDade Blvd next to Roy Tweedy's.

The Spring Chicken Consignment sale in Havertown usually has a good selection as well. The next sale dates are: Friday, August 15, Noon - 6 pm
and Saturday August 16, 2008, 8am - 2pm

You could also join and try asking on Delco Freecycle
