Mascara - Wylie,TX
I am looking for a good mascara. One that does not run or smudge. I am an allergy sufferer so I tend to mess with my eyes quite a bit. I have tried several lately, even waterproof ones and nothing seems to stay on.

So What Happened?â„¢
I think I am going to try the Loreal Lash Out since it is a little more less expensive. If this doesn't work I will try the Lancome. Thank you all for your help.

I can;t live without my Loreal Lashout (or it may be called splashout) blackest black mascara. It is in a gold tube with a blue ring around it. I have used it for, gosh, 15 plus years, I guess. Nothing that I have ever used is as good. In my younger years I was an allergy sufferer and an easy crier- I never had to worry about my mascara once I started using this. Strangers have asked my what I use. Oh, yea, I have short, blond sparse lashes, and with this, I have beautiful eyes. Good Luck! Oh yea, you might try the Maybelline eye makeup remover for this-- it has the pink cap. It is the best at getting this mascara off!!! (plus, both items are inexpensive and can be bought anywhere!!)

I absolutely love Prescriptives False Eyelashes Mascara. I've tried just about everything out there and this is the only one that doesn't smudge on me. It is a little pricey, but worth every penney.

Lancome mascara costs approximately $22 per tube and is really worth it. Their website states, "All Lancôme mascara formulas are ophthalmologist-tested, fragrance-free and suitable for contact lens wearers."
Here is the secret for those of us tht are budget conscious though; you can buy full size, never opened, tubes on www.ebay.com for half the cost including S & H. I have purchased multiple times from different sellers and never been disappointed.
I prefer very full and long lashes; therefore, I choose to purchase Lancome's Hypnose (non-waterproof) mascara. Definicils is one of the world's best sellers when it comes to mascara. It lengthens and separates; however, does not make the lashes full enough for my taste. I was a make-up artist for Lancome for several years and definicils is the favorite for most women.
I have tried several mascara brands and have always gone back to Lancome. I got tired of spending less money on the other options and then spending the additional on the brand that makes me happy. Try ebay; it is worth it!

Avon, washable, waterproof. It stays on very good for about 24 hours. It does wash off with soap and water. Does not smudge or flake. I am also sensitive to things and this does not bother me.

You have lots of choices when it comes to Mascara. Based on the needs you mentioned, I recommend Waterproof Mascara by Mary Kay ($10). It's triathlon-tested to deliver longer, thicker-looking lashes that last. Tear-proof, pool-proof, saltwater-proof and humidity-proof. It works great - no clumping. 100% guarantee. I'm a Consultant if you decide you would like to give it a try. http://www.marykay.com/jspare

I finally broke down and bought Lancome- and LOVE it. I already have dark circles under my eyes so any smudges make me look like a racoon.
Personally I think the Lancome Definicels (sp??) works the best. I wait for Lancome to have a free gift offer, buy 2 mascaras and then get free make-up!
Also this web site http://www.cosmeticscop.com/ has some great articles comparing all sorts of make up.

Hi J.,
I am just checking all of my old e-mail and I would swear by either Amway's mascara or Mary Kay's. both have stayed on my eyes when nothing would...it is just the regular mascara, not the water proof. Good luck.

I too have used the Arbonne mascara and loved it!!! Healthy Aproach Market (in Grapevine) also has an all natural mascara in their cosmetic section. I ran out of my Arbonne one and tried that one while I ordered more.....it has worked out great too!

J.-
I finally used Maybelline Waterproof for the first time this weekend, really put it to the test (my dog died :( )and it didn't run, smudge, flake, or anything, yet was easy to remove at night. It also went on really nice and I could apply layers to get it as full looking as I wanted without any clumping. I have super allergic/sensitive eyes and I wear contacts, so I can definitely relate. Good luck!

Hi J.. I agree with the other women recommending Arbonne's new Lash Colour. I highly recommend it! Two in one, this product is a combination of a colorless primer agent that conditions and preps lashes, and a mascara that offers water-resistant lash coloring. This formula won't irritate lids and offers extended wear...that's easy to remove. I love it! To learn more check out: www.mandyolsen.myarbonne.com!

Hi J.,
Arbonne has a great water resistant mascara. It has a 45 day guarantee if you are not happy with it for any reason. It has never run on me even when it gets wet! Plus Arbonne is made with the safest, purest ingredients. Hypoallergenic, ph correct, no animal by products...
A lot of mascaras contain bat feces (!) and/or tar. Arbonne's does not. If you'd like to try it, let me know.
You can check out the website http://www.arbonne.com
Thanks!

Hi J.,
Try the ones (I think by Neutrogena) that is an "Eyelash Tint" These do not run, flake or smudge. You will not even have raccoon eyes in the morning if you forget to wash your face. I also sell Mary Kay products and we have a great Ultimate Mascara that is waterproof and lengthen lashes… but to be perfectly honest, the tint sounds like the perfect solution for your needs!
Good Luck!

I use Dior Show. I was at a National Makeup Event at Neiman Marcus and that was what all the National makeup artists were usuing. I have been wearing it for a year now and I love it!! It never flakes on me and I too am messing with my eyes a lot. I have used many many brands and I have to say that Dior wins. I believe that it has won several awards also. Try it.

Dior Show has won many awards. Their brush is awsome and they do not use tar in their water proof mascara. Which thru research, thats what most companys put in their
mascara to make it water proof. Never pump your mascara it will put air in the tube and dry it out and you will clump. You can try it out at Nordstom, Dillards or Sepora.
Good Luck
