Marc Weisbluth Website
Hi all. I'm having sleep issues with my 8 month old and have been reading through old posts. I read lots of posts about Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by marc Weisbluth and I just did a search to find his website and had no luck. I got lots of choices but most were trying to sell his books. Can anyone give me the address to his website. Thanks

I would also recommend that you buy the book. If you don't want to spend retail for it (it is in paperback), try a used bookstore such as Powell's. You may even get a lower retail price on it at Amazon.com, and if you order $25 of stuff that qualifies for Free Super Saver Shipping, you will avoid shipping costs as well.

Hi M., I don't know the site, but I do know of two amazing (three if you count wearing baby out during the day, shorter naps or not letting the naps happen so late) things that helps me to this day with my troubled sleepers. Both are very safe for baby. First one is Homeopathic Calms tablets (they melt in the mouth posing no chocking hazards) and the other is called Badger Sleep Balm. You can rub this on their temples and third eye and they should be asleep in no time. The other thing that really helps us is no tv within an hour of sleep. The flickering light and amount of times that the screen refreshes itself in nanoseconds is too much stimulation for the little ones. I hope you find the site, there are many other ideas out there if mine don't work for you. Best of luck and hope you get some sleep.
A little about me...I am a single parent of twins who did not get any sleep for the first six months - I was seriously sleep deprived until someone gave me Calms for the boys. At six months I got my first full 6 hours of sleep (I usually need 8-9)

M., He doesn't maintain a website as he is still a practicing physician and runs a pediatric sleep clinic. we got his book from amazon.com and it has explained SO many things about the weirdness of baby sleep to us.

Hello M.,
I'm a parent coach and give Marc Weisbluth to ALL my new Mom's!!! It's the best. I don't think he has a site. I've looked off & on for several years.
He has the best ideas. I've used the for years, and they really work.

It is available at the library - have requested it many times. Then decided to buy it so it would always be handy when I need it. I swear by it.

If you don't feel like you have time to read the whole book (or if you are waiting to get it from the library) you could start by listening to a 20 minute interview with him on the Parents Journal website. This is an radio show that wasn't on in Seattle (where we were living at the time) so I went to the website when my son was very young and it is worth taking a look at, she has great information in general. To get to his interview go to the website: www.parentsjournal.com and then search for his name (Weissbluth)- it will take you to the archived interviews and you can listen there. Currently you can subscribe to the podcast to hear the weekly show and you can search by author/speaker to find stuff in the archives.

There is no website. You will find the book very helpful. I love the book and used many of the ideas. If you don't want to buy the book maybe you can get it from the library.
