Have you checked out the Core on 182nd and Hawthorne? Very cool place. And they have stuff for kids to do while the parents take classes. http://www.thecoreypc.com

Hi there!
If you want to go as far as San Pedro, Inner Harmony Yoga has an excellent beginner series.
The instructor, Kari, is warm, supportive and humorous.
There is no sense of competition or judgement whatsoever at Inner Harmony, and she also offers level one and two classes so you can progress.
Hope this helps.

Have you tried the El Camino College Community classes? They start in February. Simply log on to www.ECCommunityEd.org. The Torrance Cultural Arts Center offers yoga. The next session starts on the spring. Just type Torrance Parks and Rec on your web search and it should give you the web address. Good Luck!

HI Geri,
You will love Laurie's Yoga class. She holds Yoga classes in her home studio in Redondo Beach. I love her classes, they are small and you get individual attention. Perfect for a beginner. She took a break for the holidays but will be resuming with a new schedule. Hope to see you there. You can contact Laurie at: ____@____.com
