Looking for Wedding Photographer Recommendation

Hi, Moms! I am looking for advice for a friend who is getting married on a Friday night in May... She is looking for a photographer, but has no idea who to call or how much services should average for the Houston area, near Katy.

Anyone have a good recommendation? Also, how much should services run in this area? She's not finding much online to narrow it down. My own wedding was more than 6 years ago, and we only paid around $1,500 for a full package including engagement photos, a fully prepared book, CD, etc, etc. Of course at that time, our photographer was just getting established too. Now his prices are double or more.

Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what the budget is for a photographer but we used photographer Al Torres. He did a fabulous job. The package we got was a little pricey but it included bridal portraits, engagement portraits, wedding DVD, 2 photo albums, and some other items.

I have some friends that are twins that are great at wedding photography. Their website is twintyphotography.com.

I'm not sure of the wedding package rates, but their style is incredible and their photographs are amazing. They are very artistic and all around great people!

I would recommend that your friend check out the websites that have been suggested and see what style she likes and then the package pricing. She may be able to negotiate a bit if she really prefers one photographer that may have higher prices. Best of luck to her in her search.
