Looking for Water Aerobics or Water Workout Classes
Does anyone know of any water workout classes or had any experiences with one? I was waiting for the Mansfield Natatorium to start their class but it seems they are having a little trouble finding an instructor. Also was wondering if these water workout classes require you to have any type of workout equipment (i.e. water weights, etc.). I tried to call the 24-hr fitness in Mansfield but you can't seem to talk with a live person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

water aerobics is great! I haven't done it in forever, though; but loved it when i did. Usually, the facility has the equipment. I do recommend getting some light-weight water shoes. Gyms that have pools often offer classes. You might try the YMCA; they sometimes have classes.
Good luck!

Grand Prairie has a Natatorium and they do offer water aerobics. Just not sure if that is farther than you want to drive.

i work for 24 hour fitness and if you hit the 0 button when the automated system comes on you will be transferred to a service rep. The water classes are amazing, full of comraderie, laughter, strength training, therapy and a great way to work every muscle in your body. I hope you give us a try!--Jen DiMarco

Grand Prairie's Natatorium is located off of Corn Valley just south of South Grand Prairie High. I don't know if that is too far of a drive or not, but it is a great program. They don't use weights, but boy do you get a work out!

The Central Branch YMCA in Arlington has classes Mon-Thurs @ 7:10pm to 8pm. They provide all of the equipment. The pool is outdoors.
