Looking for Swim Lessons for 3 Yo in Denver
I'm really anxious to get my 3-year-old daughter in swim lessons before our trip to Mexico in February. Can anyone recommend some place for swim lessons. We live in Wash Park but am willing to travel. Thanks!

Check out ISR:infant swim resource. Www.infantswim.com it is pretty intense lessons (every day for 10minutes for 5-6weeks, but seriously worth it. I've done it with both my kids. My son was 17 months when he learned to swim most importantly to roll to his back to breath. They are now 3 and 4 and very capable swimmers, makes me more comfortable to be around water with them. Ever since going through ISR I realize how many kids drown every year-scary stuff. I don't want to scare you but just want to tell you that ISR is worth the time, effort and money. Good luck

Hi J.,
We have been taking my daughter to Safe Splash since she turned 3. They are at Lincoln and Peoria- I know it is a bit of a drive, but worth every minute! She used to be afraid to jump in and now she would rather jump off the diving board into the deep end at our neighborhood pool.
They have a great approach and are one of the centers with the 90 degree water, small classes and ratios and they ask parents to sit behind the glass.
Good luck- we love it there.

Schlessman YMCA at Yale and Colo or at the University of Denver - they have a new series of lessons starting in Jan - but I don't know ages.

DU has great swimming lessons for young children. Small classes. It can be a bit pricey but we love it. We are in round two!

Starfish swim school in the Tech center is where we go and it's great.

We LOVE Starfish Swim School in Greenwood Village. We live in Denver, but think it's totally worth the drive. My kids have come further doing these classes than any others we've tried.

I highly recommend SwimLabs on County Line. Their phone number is ###-###-####. It is a family owned business and they are just wonderful with kids. My 4 yo has been going there for under a year and loves it. She has already moved up to the advance class.
