I wanted to find a sports program that offers like soccer or tee-ball. My son will be 4 in March, and I wanted to get him signed up with a league or whatever it is called. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!

Go to www.planobaseball.org. Thats what we did. We're on the team "Indians" maybe you would like something like that? I believe the coach is Mike Bronsky.

Plano Sports Authority is currenlty registering for T-Ball in the Spring.

Checkout their website at

http://www.psaplano.org/spring_baseball.htm

My 3 year old son is already signed up and is currently playing soccer for them. His first game is on Saturday. Their programs seem very well organised and the coaches are great.

Hope that helps

You should look into classes at the Plano recreation center. They're low-cost and low-commitment classes. The great thing about them is your son can try month long classes to see what he may be interested in b/4 you sign him up for a league sport (which is a longer commitment and more expensive). I actually don't think there are many leagues that allow children that young, I think most start at age 5 , but the Plano rec center is a good alternative.
Plano youth soccer (http://www.pysa.org) is enrolling right now, but I think you're son is a year too young - but it's a good site to bookmark for future reference.

Good Luck!

You should check www.psaplano.org they have different sports that you and your child may be interested in. My son has been playing with that league for four years now. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I also coach t-ball along with a friend of mine. I hope this information helps you.

I would start by checking with Plano Parks and Recreation. They have a lot of great programs. I know the spring catalog is due out in the first week of March, and you can look at programs online at Leisure Online:

Look under "preschool" and "physical activities" to find sports programs for your child's age group. We've sent our kids to several classes, programs, and camps through Plano Parks & Rec and we've been happy with them.

Hi S.,

I started my boys in tee-ball at the age of 3. I went through Rosemeade Recreation Center. They are now 12 and 6. We just signed up for Spring ball two weeks ago. Check with your recreation center or YMCA. Good Luck!
