Looking for Some Kind of Work from Home.

I am looking for something to do from home that would bring in some income to contribute to the household. I would like to maybe do some medical transcription work or something that I could do on the computer? I also have been thinking about babysitting one to two kids in my home as a non licensed daycare provider? I am not really sure what I would like to do exactly, but am looking for suggestions that would help. I don't plan on going back to work after I have my second baby in February and I would like to do something worth while that would help my husband with the money factor plus stay home with the kids. Please give me some helpful suggestions. Thankyou!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Well, thankyou all for your fast responces! I have decided that since I have a medical background in nursing that I am going to actually take a few more classes to become a medical transcriptionist from home. Wish me luck with that. I hope that I can find work easy enough. It shouldn't take me long to finish that program and start looking for employment that I can do from home.

I have chosen to not do childcare mainly because I have thought about what a bug thing a new baby will be for our little family to get use to and I think that my daughter will do better with just myself and the baby at home on a day to day basis for a while so that she can bond with her new baby brother and so that I can get use to handling both of them at the same time. I think that I thought that would be easy in the beginning, but now I am starting to think differently. I think we will all have some adjusting to do when the time comes.

I did hear about all sorts of sales and marketing like mary kay, pampered chef and other online things that I could do from home and as much as I appreciate it, I don't really think that those are my kind of thing.

Thankyou all and I hope you are all doing well this New Years day! Wish me luck with the medical transcription courses and finding work from home after the fact.

Hi C.,
My name is A. Ellis and I'm in a situation where I need child care for 2 children. I have a 4 year old son and a 16 month old daughter as well! I don't need full time help, just about 4-5 hours a day. What do you think? Where are you located?

Hi C., I am a consultant for a in home party plan company. You can look in my profile to see what I do. However, when it comes to finding what kind of business you want to do, first, decide what are your interests. Do you like to scrapbook? Do you have experience with book keeping? Do you like to watch children? Once you narrow down your interests, decide how much time and energy can you put into your business. How much money are you needing to bring into the family budget. There are so many work at home opportunities...with a little planning and research you will find the best opportunity for you.
Good luck on your search.

HI C.

I thought if you have completed your nursing classes, but are still interested in working from home in the medical field, I would check out www.sohojobs.org

They post hundreds of job openings from companies interested in hiring people to work from home.
You may find something in the medical field :o)

Best wishes ~

"Working from home thanks to www.sohojobs.org"

go to hotjobs.com and register (its free) then look up work from home, there are tons. they don't cost anything and you just have to have a resume. I have even seen some that want a nurse to work for them. if you don't like that site, there is also monster.com.... however hotjobs is better, i think.... good luck

Hi C.,
My name is A. and I noticed that you were looking for a new career. I am a stay at home mom as well with 2 little ones,16mo & 3mo. I sell The Body Shop at Home. I never thought I would be into direct sales but after having my girls and wanting to stay at home with them this seemed to be the way to go. I love it now and I usually make about $100 a party. Usually parties take about 3 hrs with your setup time. If you are interested at all let me know and I can give you some more info or you can check out my web site too.
