Looking for Some Good Condition Used Living Room & Dining Room Furniture

We are looking for some furniture for our new home. I work at a top notch furniture store in the area, but I am not interested in buying new items while my children are so young/messy etc...I am specifically looking for couch/loveseat (sectional would be GREAT,) end/coffee table(wood only), lamps, as well as chairs for our kitchen table (something without upholstry). If anyone knows a great used furniture store or has any of these items that they no longer need, please get in touch with me. I really appreciate it!!

What can I do next?

Have you tried Ikea?

We have a really nice glass top dining room table with a cherry wood base! Also have a few couches and a chair (that are not as nice, but in good cond). Let me know if you want to take a look. ____@____.com

Keep your eye out for things on Craigs List too...many people sell or just give away things on there. Go to craigslist.com and look up philly area.

Good luck.

I'm not sure what are you live in but a couple of my girlfriends have bought used furniture from The Shabby Attic. Here's their info:

Hi K.,
I would highly recommend that you sign on to Freecycle.org ans sign up for Phoenixville and/or Chester County.

It's free and you can set it up to receive emails daily showing what folks have up for grabs. There are ALWAYS listings for furniture. The trick is that you need to be quick to respond because most listings are first come, first serve or the first one that can come pick up the item(s).

You can also post a "wanted" request, stating what you need.

Good Luck!

we got a really nice set off of freecycle. the couple was redoing their living room and the colors didn't match. the couches were like brand new. when we moved we passed them along. it's easy to use and fun.

You may try going on freecycle.com, look for your state, then for your county and sign up with them - have gotten some really nice things that way for free and have also gotten rid of things that way! :)
Good luck!
