Looking for Social Activities for Me and My 9 Month Old Daughter
Hello,
I am a SAHM and looking for things to do with my little one. So far, we went to a swim class. That was fun, but the class is almost over.
I am open to new things and I like the outdoors.

You can get a yearly membership to the Detroit or Toledo zoos, or to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum. They are great, you can pack a lunch and stroll along with the baby as long as you want to.

depending on were you live, there is a place called jungle java. One is canton and one is farmington. It's a indoor play structure with an area for the little ones to play as well. I think borders books has storytime. Sometimes, i even just took my son to the mall to play in the kids place.

We have a Kindermusik class starting in June at the Abilities Center in West Bloomfield. There is a class for infants - 18-month olds and the theme is "Zoo Train." It's an awesome class. Come and check us out! You can call at ###-###-####.

Hello,
I am not sure where you live but here in Birmingham, our public library has mom and baby story times which can be a nice outing and lets you and your baby be social. Wherever you live though I would check in with the library. Also, our church offers lots of moms groups, both playground type meet ups with your kids and mom's groups with child care provided - check out www.fumcbirmingham.org
Hope that helps!

There is a great mom and baby yoga class at Namaste Yoga in Royal Oak on Tuesday mornings. Also, local libraries usually have (free) activities for moms and babies/toddlers. I know that the Royal Oak library has at least one per week. I've met so many friends that way! Also, go to the Detroit Zoo on any weekday, now that it's nice, and you're bound to meet someone. Good luck!
