Looking for Small Bowling Alley in SW Metro
Anyone know of a nice, small bowling alley in the SW Metro? Even into Minneapolis is fine, or Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington, etc. I'd like to rent the place out for a family get-together. Something old or retro would be cool, but I'd really like the auto-scoring lanes since all ages will be bowling. Otherwise I would have looked into Bryant Lake Bowl. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Try Memory Lanes. It's in south Minneapolis though not on the west side. They have a retro theme. The website is www.memorylanesmpls.com or something like that. Has a cafe too called Flashback Cafe.

Hi,
Check out Nokomis Lanes on 42nd street and Bloomington Ave in S Mpls. (I'm pretty sure that's the name). They just did a remodel and it's nice. They have the auto-scoring as well as bumper bowling. We've attended a few parties there and bring our kids for an occasional rainy day bowl.

Have you looked at Tuttle's Bowling Alley in Hopkins? They are at the interesection of Excelsior Blvd. and Shady Oak Rad. It's probably not as small as you'd like. I believe they have 24 lanes. However, they do host birthday parties and are very accommodating. We just hosted a family fun night there for our Minnetonka ECFE community and I think everyone had a very good time.
