Looking for Sick-child Care (Alternative to Daycare)

Does anyone have care options for sick children who can't go to regular daycare? It's especially that last day - when he feels better but hasn't quite been fever-free for 24 hours - for which I need an alternative. I've been out of the office all week with my son, and I'd like to find an option for the times my schedule isn't quite so flexible. Thank you!

KidsMed is a program administered by Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas-They take care of sick children as an alternative to leaving the child sick at daycare. Check it out on the web. Medical City at Forest also has a similar program-Sniffles and Snuggles.

Medical City has an on-site day care program (Forest/Central). They have a sep area for sick kids with a cute name that escapes me right now! I think Presby Hospital has one, too. Good luck.

This facility is called childrens choice learning center. It is a wonderful facility and accepts sick children. I take my son to the location in lewisville and it is wonderful. They really teach the children and it is very structured. I feel very safe in leaving my son there. Most childrens choice locations are open 24 hours seven days a week, but I am not sure about the Dallas location, so you might call. I strongly recommend this daycare.

Good Morning,

I use a babysitter to watch my kids when I have school on the weekends and other things. The babysitter is 19-20 and she is very sweet, does really well my girls who are 2 and 3, if interested I can leave you her phone number.
Have a great weekend.

Children's Choice of Medical City has a Sniffles and Snuggles program - if your child is too sick for daycare, you can pay an extra fee (along with the day rate), and put him into the program - he is looked after by an actual nurse and is able to play, etc. all day, just like normal daycare.

I've never used the Medical City location, but I have used the Lewisville location (currently without a nurse), and it was a lifesaver!!!
