It is one of my new years reslolutions to get out there and meet people and get more public-speaking experience. I have a couple of topics that may be of interest to your group. First, I am a licensed home daycare provider and would be willing to talk with the group about interviewing for childcare and answer questions from the home daycare perspective as well as give tips on transitioning your child into/out of daycare. Secondly, I am a fitness enthusiast, certified through the American Council on Exercise and also a Zumba Instructor. I would be thrilled to come and share a selection of exercises for strength and share ways for busy moms to incorporate fitness into a daily routine. Lastly, for the past 8 years I have kept my home green and choose not to use chemicals such as bleach or formaldehyde in my home and get my family and daycare children outdoors on a regular basis to engage with nature. I have presented and shared information in a booth at past events in my area and based on the interest of your group, I could share my research and resources such as websites & articles, as well as run an open discussion on this topic.

check with your the local hospitals. most have a speakers bureau. You might also check your local chamber of commerce. they could provide speakers from your area.
