Looking for Primary Care Physician

I'm looking for a Primary Care Physician in the Overland Park/Olathe area. Mine dropped my insurance and since then I've seen my OBGYN during my pregnancy. But now I need to find someone new...someone who will really listen to me. I'd prefer a woman. Any reccommendations?

What can I do next?

We see Dr. Ronald Graham at College Point Medical Plaza. I know that you preferred a woman, however, he is awesome. My husband actually will go to him and I cannot tell you how many years he went without going to the doctor. There is also a pediatrician in the same office in case you are in need of one for your baby (Dr. DeRoo). Their address is: 23450 College Boulevard Olathe, KS 66061 and their phone number is: ###-###-####. In addition to him--the staff are awesome!! They will always try to get you in as soon as possible (are never rude) and if it is for the pediatrician we almost alwayst get a same day appointment. There is also a walk-in clinic associated with the building and they are great as well. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I absolutely LOVE Arbor Creek Family Care at 159th and Murlen.

College Park Family Care Center is on 112th and College. They have several primary care doctors. I also highly recommend the PA's, 2 of them are named Kelly and one I have seen, the other some of my family members have seen and they seem to be good and very thorough. Dr. Jordan is also very good but she may be full and not sure if she is accepting new patients. It is a very good practice and so far all the doctors we have seen either through our regular check-ups or the acute care they provide after hours have been good doctors. You can see several and choose which one you want to be your primary care dr. They also have several locations in the area so another location may be closer but the main office is on 112th. We have been going there for 5 years and like how everything is convenient as they have their own lab, xray, several specialists in the building and don't have to go everywhere to get procedures done. I am sure there are some that you would have to go somewhere else but they offer a lot of different type of care and have different types of doctors all in the same practice. They take a lot of insurance companies but you would need to call and find out if they accept yours.

rita oplotnik was doctor for baby #3. She's family practice, and very caring. You often end up waiting, though because she spends so much time with patients.

I REALLY like Dr Casey Tramp at Olathe Family Physicians at Olathe Med Center. She is fantastic. She did my prenatel care and delivered dd#2 and is also doc to both my girls. She is very open, listens to your concerns and rarely keeps you waiting.
