Looking for Pony Rides/Horse Rides...

For my sons 3rd birthday, I thought bringing the kids to some little dude ranch to ride ponies would be a good idea...I think. Anyways, if anyone has any experience with going to any of these places or have one they would recommend, I would appreciate it. Also, you think 3 is too young for that?

What can I do next?

I have two suggestions:
1)I think this one was mentioned by Ginger - not sure. On Plano off 75 there is a place called "Fairview Farms" - it's close to the Joe's Crab Shack, FYI.
2)Bill Bates Ranch in Prosper/Celina (www.bigorangepumpkinfarm.com)

Good luck!

We went to a party for 3-yr olds in Plano on Central - the place is around Park Lane I think. It was very funny. They tied a bandana to a goat and the kids chased it. One thing I think you should do, tho, is explain to the staff that 3-yr olds are not going to understand instructions like 5 and up. Our group was confused at the start for each activity. It was a great party and my daughter is still talking about the pony she rode.

We just recently went to a 3-year birthday party @ Frisco Horse Park on 121. It was really fun (although very hot). They had some animals to pet, pony rides (on 2 different horses), a jump house, and a pretty scarey swing set. I don't think 3 is too young but I won't invite alot of kids that are younger than your child. Happy partying!

I was going to suggest Barnyard Buddies in Plano.

That's what I did for my daughter's 3rd birthday. We went to Frisco Horse Ranch at 121 & Coit. It was really great. I highly recommend it. They got to play on a little swing set, jump in a bounce house, pet farm animals, and they provided a birthday room for presents and cake. good luck.
