Looking for Playgroup

I just responded to Mimi in Lincoln Park who is also interested in starting a playgoup/mom's group.
I live in Roscoe Village & have a 7 month old boy. I'm really interested in getting together with some other new moms.

Another mom and I are trying to get a playgroup/mom group started. She lives in Chicago and I am in Oak Park. My son is 6 months old and I believe her child is 8 months - let me know if this would work for you as well?

Your best bet is to join the new moms group at Northside Parents Network. You can sign up online.

I just had my first child this past July. I would be interested in the group. I live in the Lakeview area as well.

I forgot to mention that we are going to rotate, so everybody gets a chance to pick the location.
BTW-I have a 10 month old son.

My name is also J. and I had my first child on August 9th (Baby boy David). I live in Evanston, but am very familiar with the city. I have found that many of the new moms have older babies so I am left with a three month old and looking for younger babies to play with (and moms too). You are in for such a treat with your newborn, but you will defintely want to talk and hang out with others that are going through the same things.
