I know there is an active MOPS group. I am also new to the city. We have lived here for a month now. My son is 2. Feel free to email me, maybe we could meetup.

L.,
The only group I know of is the Chattanooga Doodlebugs, but when I was in it, they didn't really ever do anything. I would be happy to plan some play times with you and your kids if you want to start with that - we could start our own group if we wanted! I have a 2 year old son and I also work full time in retail, so I have a few days during the week that I am not working. Please let me know if you would be interested in getting together.

I clicked on the wrong thing so you couldn't see my email address to respond. Please respond to my earlier email and let me know what part of town you are moving to I might have some more ideas.

Hi L.,
I believe that the Barnes and Noble in the Hamilton Place area still has a book reading/snack/activity on wednesdays. I think its around 11. You may want to call to confirm that. Also, call your nearest library for kids corner things. Your 2 plus would probably love a puppet show or reading she could get involved in. My little one was 3 in May if you live in the East Ridge area we might could play on a wed.sometime.LC

Kindermusik is a great place for mommy and child. Look at the website www.kindermusik.com and see where there are groups... I am working again and have my children in child care, but know about Kindermusik from when I was a stay at home mom... Please let me know what you find out!!! Welcome to Chattanooga. It is so hard finding other moms, except for the kids at my son and daughters school we don't have many friends with children. E.

Hey L.!
Good Luck on your move! The Chattanooga Area is full of small children activities. Sorry I can't give you one right off hand, being a working Mom there's not much time for them. If I hear of any anytime soon, I will be sure to let you know.
By the way, do you know what part of town you will be living in? Are you wanting to find something in that area or does that even matter?
