A wonderful teacher in Temple Terrace is Virginia Grissom - she teaches from her home, and she has done it for a long time. She offers various options for beginners, including some small group lessons initially, if you want them. She has 3 daughters herself, too.

Katherine Hintz is a great music teacher and teaches private lessons for piano, amongst other instruments as well. She is wonderful with kids. I know she does lessons in her home in Stonegate off of 54, but she may come to your house. You would have to call or email her. I'm a piano teacher and love kids. I've been teaching for 15 years now and offer piano, violin, viola, voice and music for toddlers and pre-schoolers. Right now I do it out of my home in Land O Lakes which might be close to you. I can offer a couple lessons free to see if your little one enjoys it. It is a good age to begin and the fact that you have a piano speaks volumes! I also have a couple different methods to work with.
