So What Happened?™

thank you everyone for the responses. My lil one is sick today and we are headed to Treehouse Pediatrics this afternoon. So far very good..For being a new patient, we were able to get in the same day and the office personnel that was on the phone was nice and helpful...
Again, thank you very much for the help.

If you haven't found a pediatrician yet, I would suggest looking at Treehouse Pediatrics. My son age 4 has been seeing Dr. Addy since birth and I love her. She always hears my concerns and the office is fun.

Dr. Trevor Turner at Brushy Creek Family Phys. He's right next to RR Hospital at 620/Wyoming Springs. He's also our family doctor and our pedi so he sees all of us.

Definitely check out Wyoming Springs Pediatrics. They are awesome. Dr. DeHaro and Dr. Marshall are both fabulous and I can't say enough about the nurses and staff. I always feel very comfortable asking questions (very important to a first time mom) and feel the care my son receives is top of the line. They truly care for him. Each time he has been sick the Dr. always calls the next day to follow up and see how he is feeling. I highly recommend them. They are located on 620 by RR Hospital.

We love Dr. Walter Kuhl at ARC. He is pragmatic, trusts our choices for our son, and has fantastic nurses. The only drawback is he is very popular and therefore frequently booked. Appointments are a little hard to get. But with his calm and knowledgable approach, we don't mind waiting a little bit.

I do not have a pediatrician in Round Rock but I do in Cedar Park, actually pretty quick drive from the Tolls, so wanted to give you the name. It's Dr.Brent Cardwell at Cedar Park Doctors and their website is cedarparkdoctors.com. My daughter is 3 and I do not have 1 complaint about their office. She was diagnosed with kidney reflux, thanks to Dr.Cardwell, so we have had numerous appointments over the last 3 years. They always are able to see that day if there is sickness and open on Saturday mornings for illnesses. Highly recommend them. If you take the toll from RR, you would exit Cypress creek road and it's immediately on your right through the light.

Good Luck.

We LOVe LOVE LOVE Dr. Anselmo Unite over at Treehouse Pediatrics!!! We've been with him for over 10 years and have NEVER been disappointed with him or his staff. Everyone there has a wonderful bedside manner. As a parent, I also appreciate they have a dedicated sick child waiting area that is separated from the well child waiting area. They're located off of FM 620 @ Great Oaks Dr. http://www.treehousepedi.com/default.shtml

Hope you find the pedi you're looking for.

Like a few of your other posters, we have been seeing Dr. Anselmo Unite for the last 5 years (Treehouse Pediatrics). He's fantastic!!! There office is great (I especially like they have seperate well and sick child areas). Dr. Unite hasn't been taking new patients for a couple of years now but Dr. Chang is. Dr. Chang is wonderful (we have had to see him several times)!!! Two of my friends have recently switched to him and have been very happy. Dr. Travis is also accepting new patients but I do not have a lot of experience with him. We have only had to see him once for a last minute sick visit. Seemed very nice. www.treehousepedi.com.

We *love* our pediatrician!!

His name is Dr. Wade Travis and he's at Treehouse Pediatrics. There are 4 Drs there and several really awesome nurses, including 2 lactation specialists as well as a very very helpful and pleasant office staff. If your Dr. isn't available, you can see any of the others (who are all wonderful from what I can tell, although I haven't personally seen any of the other Drs yet) They have a phone triage line for after hours calls and are open on Saturday mornings! Being a new mom, I've called many times with questions and my calls have always been returned promptly with excellent information. They are not afraid to say "I don't know, let me find more information for you" which I think is great. There are two waiting rooms, one for well visits and the other for sick visits. The environment is welcoming and friendly, fun for children and not too saccharine for adults. The care is comprehensive and we have had nothing but positive experiences with Treehouse so far. And Dr. Travis is friendly while still being professional and he's got a fantastic bedside manner. I'm sure he's probably heard the same questions or concerns a million times but he doesn't act that way. He takes his time with us, addresses any questions or concerns we have and is very proactive. He does this with all his patients I'm sure.

Oh and they also have a great website which I've consulted numerous times (the symptom/dosage page is a great help!). Here's a link to it so you can learn more about Treehouse. We love it there and can't recommend it high enough!!
