Looking for Pediatrician - Gilbert, AZ

I am looking for a pediatrician for my 3yr old, we are not happy with the family practice Dr we have now.The problem is my son can be very difficult and is a champion at tantrum throwing so I am looking for a ped. that has a knack for dealing with "difficult" toddlers.

What can I do next?

Dr. Amy Shoptaugh. She's incredible. I have three girls and they have all been seeing her since birth. She is located in Tempe. I drive 20 each way just to see her. (we used to live in Tempe) If you end up going to her tell her Chloe, Paige and Kali's mom referred you.

The pediatrician I go to is Dr. Albert Schwartz at Mesa Pediatrics. You can view their website at www.mesapeds.com He was once my pediatrician, too, so obviously he has been doing this quite a while. He is definately a no nonsense doctor whom I recommend very highly. They have several offices, but he works at the Tempe office on McClintock and Guadalupe. Read the bios on their website and see what you think.

I have had Dr. Ladha on 7th st in North Central Phoenix. He is also my nephews ped Dr. He and his staff are the BEST Drs and staff I have ever dealt with. Hope this helps.

I have a really good ped and my daughter has just recently started mastering tantrums, and he seems to do really well with her. He does all his work with her in my lap, so she's more comfortable, and he has an after office hours clinic in east mesa. You can start scheduling for that at 5 mon-friday. I got her an appointment last week for 730pm, and it wasnt even closing time. Its located at Power and Southern near the 60 and his main office in on Val Vista and Baseline. His name is Dr. Curvan... I cant remember his first name, but he works for East Valley Pediatrics. Good luck, I hope this helps you!

I have a 2&half year old daughter who was a premie weighing 3lbs at birth. They've taken such great care of her. We go to Mesa Pediatric on Greenfield and Guadalupe and we love it. our primary pediatrician is Dr. Robin Laks. She is GREAT but sometime she is hard to get on your first visit. So I will advise to see Dr. DaSilva or Mullin. Both of them are good too. Then switch to Dr. Laks when making your next appointment if you cannot see her on your first visit. Good Luck. Oh they have 4 offices.

My pediatrician is great, but I don't know if he's in a part of town you are looking for. He's at 40th St. and Bell Rd. in North Phoenix. His name is Dr. Albert Pepka. He's great!!! Highly recommended

Hi K. - I absolutely love my son's doctor - Dr. Ronald Jones. You don't say what part of town you're in, but he might work for you if you're in the East Valley. He's just north of Warner and Alma School (kind of behind the Fry's/ Wal-Mart shopping center). The number is ###-###-####. He has a very warm, sweet manner and is very knowledgable and reassuring for me. I get the feeling that he has a genuine love for children.
