I'm sure there are moms who would love to do a play/scrapbook date together....but you shouldn't feel bad about leaving your son with your husband, so you can go and have fun. It's called taking care of yourself.

I have a home-based business...and when my kids were little, I'd go out one or two nights a week to work -- and my husband would take care of them. (It's not called babysitting; it's called parenting.) Did he always do things the way I would? No -- but our girls (who are now in the 20s) have a wonderful relationship with him. And I got to develop as a person.

Parents who are happy and fulfulled -- and who have interests outside their wee ones -- raise happy and fulfilled children.

I want to come. I live north of you is Sunnyvale but would love to get together. I have a very active toddler and am so far behind because I cant seem to get it together to do. I dont like leaveing him either.
