Hi H.,
I had my second boy a year ago at Presbyterian Hospital on Walnut Hill in Dallas. My OBGYN is wonderful, Dr. Tracy Speight, she was referred to me by my best friend after she had her first child. My first OBGYN was a young female who hadn't had any children and right away I could tell a difference with Dr. Speight because she's a mom herself. Her office is at the hospital and her number is ###-###-####. My whole experience at Presbyterian was so much better than with my first son who was born at Medical City 3 years ago. The level of care, service and atmosphere was excellent.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
And if you need a good Mother's Group to join, there's a great one on www.meetup.com for mother's that live in the Loop to meet about once a week. (it's not exclusively for Mom's in the 635 loop, but convenient for those that are. A lot of us are transplants from other places).
Good luck!

I am a doctor (Internal Medicine) and I REALLY LOVE my OB-GYN. His name is Dale Ehmer (pronounced ay-mer). His office is across the street from Baylor Dallas. He is very intelligent, kind, and has never had any lawsuits or bad outcomes with babies. When you see him you will feel like his only patient for the day--very attentive. He is Christian; which was important to me. The office number is ###-###-####--tell them C. Wilder referred you-they should know who I am. Hope this helps. If you cannot see him, any doctor in their office would be an excellent choice. They have all been named to D magazines "best doctor" list at one time or another.

Are you in Dallas or McKinney? I have had some recommendations for the McKinney area. But will wait to offer adivce until I know you are in that area. Wouldn't want you drivig all over the place! And these are recommendations.I have yet to live there, but have gotten these names from various people. I will be moving to McKinney in Dec. We close on our Stonebridge ranch house 12/23. We will be moving in by the end of the year. Let me know if I can be of any other help. How do you like the are so far?
Good luck!

Hi H.,
I recommend you deliver at Presbyterian Dallas. Its the best labor/delivery hospital, with an entire building just for women's health. Your OB's office will be on the 2nd floor, and you will deliver in on the 1st floor, and then move to a room on the 4th floor a few hours after giving birth.
I recommend the group called Walnut Hill OB/GYN and Dr. Jeffrey Thurston. He specializes in high risk older patients (over age 35) but because of that, he has seen the worst case scenario and averted problems because of his extensive eperience. He also wrote a published book called "1,000 Questions about your Pregnancy" that many women around the country use as a guide. The office phone number is ###-###-####.
Good luck! L.

Dr. Dale Ehmer - I live in McKinney and still drive to him in Dallas. He is at Baylor downtown. You will never find a better group of OBGYN's anywhere! They have a wonderful reputaion and people that go there swear by them. (There are 3 in the practice - all wonderful!) My best friend goes to one of the other doctor's there. Anyway, I have gone there since I was 22 years old (now 33) and he delivered my 3 year old daughter. I cannot say enough about them - I love them! And all of my friends said their doctors weren't always available and some didn't even deliver their babies! Dr. Ehmer was there for every visit - the whole time I was in the hospital and everything. Again, I love him!
Good luck!! :)

I have used Dr. Felicia Tillman for a little over 7 years. I love her. She has delivered one of my babies and she would have delivered my son, but we were pregnant at the same time and she beat me to the punch. Her OBGYN delivered my son. She is good, too. Her name is Ann Woodbridge. Dr. Woodbridge may not be accepting new patients, though. They are both located at Presby Dallas at Women's Health Central. Let me know and I can get you the number or I think you can look up Women's Health Central online.

I recommend highly Dr. Julie Farrow. I was almost 40 when we learned I was pregnant for the first time, and having no family or friends in the area, was refered to Dr. Farrow by my internist. She is part of an all women's practice at Medical City -- she is thorough, mild mannered, wonderful bedside manner, competent...and on and on. I miss seeing her now that I delivered a healthy baby girl.

I used Dr Napier at Medical City and loved her. She is younger (mid-late 30's), has 2 small girls of her own and has tons of experience. I had a few small concerns during my pg, but my delivery and postnatal care turned critical. She took charge wonderfully! I really owe her my life and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't trust anyone else. Now their is another dr in her practice, Dr Heintges. She is young also with alittle less experience, but is very outgoing. I enjoyed every minute with her. So if you want someone to make you smile and laugh with each visit and someone that feels more like family then a dr then I would say Heintges. If you want someone that has seen it all, but is still nice and fun to be around then I would say Napier. Both were present during my surgery and fought a tough battle to keep me alive so I love them both dearly! If you can't tell, I speak very highly of them!

Congratulations to you!!!! I just recomended an OB in Plano this morning. I'm not sure where you are located but if you are willing to make the drive to Plano Presby Dr Jennifer Campbell is awesome. I had both of my boys with her. I'm not crazy about Plano Presby but I think she also delivers at the Presby in Dallas.
Where in CA are you from? I moved here from San Francisco in '97. If you have anyquestions about Dr. Campbell or Northlake OBGYN my e-mail ia:
