I am 32 years old and have 3 daughters, 8, 4 and 18 months (3 months pregnant...hopefully a boy this time;). We just moved here to Palm Harbor from Texas this summer as my husband is in the Navy Reserves, and was mobilized for a year, maybe two. I haven't met very many friends yet, but I would love to meet some for myself and my family. I was recently invited to this group and although I don't have small kids I loved the idea because I would love to make new friends. I've lived here in Palm Harbor for 5 years and I love it here. I enjoy the beach and all of what our area has to offer. I grew up around the TriBurough Area of NY.
I have 3 good friends here in FL. One of them I met on a Cruise and it turned out she lives in Bradenton, but that's a little far and she's a school teacher. So we can't get together that often. We have our teenage kids in common (and I guess our love for children because I majored in Early Childhood education in College) Anyway, I have a friend whom I met through Church because she was looking for someone to babysit for her 6 month son once in a while. Needless to say we became instant friends (and I love that little boy). We are actually planning his 4th Birthday Party for this coming weekend.
As a matter a fact this past weekend I took her to see that "We are the 80's concert" at Ruth Eckerd hall and we had a blast. I also go on Playgroups sometimes with her so we can talk and Nicholas can play and we take him to the park and beach. I work from home so I have a very easy going schedule.
I've been thinking about taking Scrapbooking lessons. And I would love to have someone to go on walks with. I walk with my other friend who has children my age (Michael 17 & Danielle 16), her son & my son Michael are best friends. We like to walk on the Dunedin Causeway. I also have a pass to HoneyMoon Island and I walk there too.
It would be great to have some girls to go see a Chick-Flick once in a while with.
I enjoy movies and reading (maybe a BookClub?)

I told Laura I'm dying to see that new Cartoon Movie that's coming out this weekend and that maybe we can take NIcholas.
