Looking for Moms Group in Area

I highly reccomend MOPS. Check out www.mops.org and go to the click down join a group and find a group in FFX. Where in FFX are you? I go to a playgroup but it's in Burke on the Fairfax County Parkway(if you want info on this one ask). Also check out www.meetup.com where you can type in yuor zipcode and what type of group you're looking for. Also check out www.parentingplaygroups.com
Also there is a site I go to called www.our-kids.com that lists different parks and playgrounds and kids consignment sales, and fun fall activities like apple picking etc.

What area of Fairfax are you? If you go to www.bigtent.com you can join mom's groups on there , there is a Vienna mom's , Oakton Mom's & Arlington mom's that I know of.

I'm not sure what you were looking for - but I have a very informal mom's group that meet's up every once in awhile. We meet up at our houses about once a month - I live in Falls Church - but some of the mom's live in Arlington. Feel free to contact me.

The one I would look at is Joy Troupe on Big Tent. I am also a member of Mamistad but I dont recommend it. But Joy Troupe has things going on just about every day of the week and has special mothers groups.
The other one that comes highly recommended is MOPS. Just google MOPS and it will come up with a list of the chapters in your area. I am not a member there... but their sales are GREAT! ;-)

Look up MOMS Club international and search for one in your area. Also there is a group that calls themselves Fairfax4 I think that is associated with DC Metro mommies. Good luck!
