I am looking for a Mothers day out program in my area. We live near White Rock Lake in East Dallas. I am interested in 2 or 3 day programs. I have spoken to Lake Highlands Presb., I am waiting for a return call from Wilshire Baptist, and have inquired about St. Thomas Aquinas since my husband is Catholic. Any info. on any of these or others in the area would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do next?

My son Ian went to the Sillman CDC program last year and had a great time. My 1 yr old Owen will start this year. They have a MWF program that is full but they still have room in the Tu Th program. Hope this helps.

For a 2-3 day a week program try the big Lutheran Church on NW Hwy near Jupiter. Sorry my mind is a blank on the name. I have 2 friends who use them and just rave about the care the kids get. One friend is the Children's director at our church and the other is a Pediatric RN so both are picky about the programs they select.
If you have more questions please feel free to email me!

hey M..its K..i lived next to matt and pati.ive met you a couple of times.kyli has attended wilshire a few semester and likes it.it has a great rep and good discipline techniques.the problem is it has a long wait list.it took a little less than a year for us to get a call back.keep your name on the list even if you use another in the meantime. you may want to change. also, there is a "drop in" PDO called Hour House at the corner of mockingbird and abrams. you can drop them off & p/u whenever. they are open late(12:00 on fri and sat night). i was thinking taking kyli this summer because she doesnt go to wilshire in the summer. they charge almost double for the summer and the semester isnt as long. i think hour house charges $8.50/hr which is about the same as most others. there is a site you can check out. www.hourhousefuncare.com. another thing, me and some friends of mine have a play group almost every wednesday if youre interested. we either meet at someones house or at a play place. next wed we are going to hawaiian falls. let me know. Hi, M.. We live in the White Rock area, too. Actually we live near Casa Linda in Little Forest Hills. We go to Wilshire and my 3 year old is in their Parent's Day Out program. I highly recommend it. Here are some others I've heard about but haven't used. White Rock United Methodist, The Children's Center located next door to White Rock United Methodist, and Lakeside Baptist on Garland Road between Casa Linda Shopping Ctr and the Arboretum. Not sure about them though. When I went to look them up on the state website for child care licensing, nothing came up. If you call them, you may want to make sure they're licensed and find out why they don't come up on that website. Since we both have 3 year olds I'd love to meet you sometime at the park. We like to go to the Casa Linda park, as well as Williamson Park in Lakewood. My email address is ____@____.com
