I have been sending my kids to Language Stars for years. They teach by immersion. For locations, check out the website at languagestars.com. They have one in Lincoln Park and one in Wilmette. I know they have other locations, but I don't know them all.

Check on line for a location for Language Stars.

I had my 3 year old enrolled for two sessions prior to the birth of my second (which was 9 mths ago). Just today he was saying his spanish words.

It's a great class. Highly recommended.

I had my daughter enroll in a parent and tot Spanish class through Evanston continuing education. The class met at Evanston Township High School on Saturdays and was relatively inexpensive. I took it with my daughter when she was 4--she loved the classes. The instructors were Peruvian or Ecuadorean and absolutely wonderful with the kids. The classes were also quite small and play-oriented.

K.- have you thought about having your child spend time with a Spanish speaking family that has children of similar age? This way, it's a lot more inexpensive, your children are socializing with other kids, and it's fun...
Best wishes,
M.

I drove by some place the other day called Language Stars. DOn't recall where I was though. It was for teaching children a foreign language. Maybe you can check their website.
