We love the "Adventure Island" pool area in the Centre in Elgin. That might be a little far for you to go (not exactly sure where LITH is), but it's a wonderful facility and very inexpensive.

I don't know if the CL YMCA is zero depth, but I have several coworkers who take their kids there for lessons and are happy with them. Prices are good. I also have heard (for future) that a new swimming place is set to open down by Pump it up. I don't know when though. I have also heard good things about the other places people have referred to...

Hi C.,
I have used Healthbridge in Crystal Lake. I know some moms in my moms group are currently taking lessons. The pool is zero depth, they have a family locker room and the prices are reasonable if you are not a member.
Hope this helps

Lifetime Fitness in Algonquin has an indoor zero depth pool. You have to be a member for family swim but they do have lessons that nonmembers can pay additional fess to participate in. This coming weekend (Jan 27 and 28) all guests are welcome.
