Looking for Great Snow Boots...

Last minute request from my 11 year old Granddaughter who just moved to Colorado is leaving me unprepared! She wears a ladies size shoe, but the shoes need to be at least a little young looking. I don't know the first place to start to get boots to Colorado in time for Christmas. Any ideas anyone on local boot shopping? Like most here in Texas, I'm totally at a loss finding quality snow boots!

Thanks everyone! I found what I was looking for at Academy at Grapevine with gloves and hat to co-ordinate. Didn't have much for little girls, but I saw hats and gloves at Syms and of course, the imports store. Much easier to find! Great information!

The ones I love are flat with rubber bottoms that grip and they zip up and go to about the knee espccially if the snow is deep. Girlie or not all look the same. I have worn this for years to Seattle because my feet get cold and they are having snow now. They are fur lined too. I would look at Sports Acadimy. G. W

I get a lot of good snow clothes on Walmart.com if they can't be found in the local store.

Try L.L.Bean they can ship in time if order by 15th. If your in Fort Worth might try Backwoods on Camp Bowie right @ 7th st. It's a great store with Back packing gear/ mountain climbing cool stuff. It's right behind Great American Sub's shop on Camp Bowie. Good Luck

I got mine at Sun & Ski Sports shop at the Grapevine outlet mall a couple of years ago before we went snow skiing in Colorado. You might also try Cabela's in Ft. Worth, although I can't remember if they have them there, but I bet they do.

I saw a bunch of snow boots at Academy Sports. You might want to check there - they usually have trendy things along with good quality.

Try Zappos.com They have all kind of shoes and boots and free overnight shipping so you can have them sent straight to her. I use them all the time. If the size is not right they will return ship them for free and send her another size.
