Looking for Great Kids' Drs

I take my 2 year old son to Lee's Summit Physicians Group in Lee's Summit - about 10-15 minutes down 470 from teh Grandview Triangle. His primary care physician is Bryan Phillips and we love him, however we have seen several other doctors there as well and have had good experiences with all. They have urgent care, weekend hours, and both a well and sick waiting room. Very focused on making kids comfortable and spending time talking with parents. Hope this helps!

We have taken our daughter to Lee's Summit Physicians Group (north of Chipman on Blue Parkway) since she was born. She sees Dr. Veenstra (who I also saw as a teenager). The staff there is wonderful and they have urgent care every day in the office which is awesome. As far as a denist our whole family uses Dr. Haggerty (south of Chipman on Blue Parkway). He's not a pediatric dentist but my daughter loves him. He does wonderful with all of us and I'm terrified of the dentist. Good Luck!!!

This may be too far out of your way, but it is within 20 minutes of Grandview. I have the absolute most amazing pediatrician...I was referred to her by my OBGYN's secretary. Her name is Katherine Knapp with Pediatric Professionals. Their phone number is ###-###-####. They are located off of 470 and Douglas. Their address is 310 NE Tudor Rd Lee's Summit, MO 64086. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Knapp. For example, whenever my son (who's six months old) goes to see her he gets so excited because she holds them and loves them and is so thorough. And she calls him her "sweet potatoe". He loves it. She and her staff are also amazing at returning phone calls!! Plus the on call physician (there are only three total female pediatricians in the office and they are all fabulous) return after hours phone calls within minutes of paging them!! If you are serious about going to a great Pediatrician...you MUST go see Dr. Knapp!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that the best pediatric dentist would probably be at Children's Mercy Hospital. Since it is a Childrens hospital they have everything you are looking for.

We use Raintree Pediatrics located near 150 and Ward in Lee's Summit. Both pediatricians have seen our son (4 1/2 months), got us through some bumps at the beginning and things are going great now. A friend recommended them, she drives her 4 boys from Lenexa just to see Dr. Yanette. I can see why!

Dr. Richard Magie is so good with my kids. They just moved from Independence area to the building next to St. Joesph's hospital. Their number is ###-###-####. The name of the group is Kcumb Physician Association and the address is 1010 Carondelet Dr, #220, Kansas City, MO.

Dr. Kurt Aarons is a great pediatric dentist. Dr. Merill Staas-Isern is who we go to for eyes. Dr. Trudy Grin a also good. We like them all.

Pediatricians- we started with Dr. MacEntire in Lee's Summit. He is awesome and my friend liked all the rest of the drs as well, and she was there a lot. We unfortunately had to switch b/c they dropped our insurance. Thanks to this site we found Allison Henschel at Raintree Pediatrics. She seems to be great. She is thorough and great with the kids.

Love our pediatrician...highly recommend her! She takes care of all 4 of my children (3 girls, 1 boy). Would be easy for you to get to her...just hop on 435 Hwy. Her practice has both well and sick waiting rooms (yeah!) and is located inside the St. Joseph Medical Mall. For nights and weekends their office sends patients to the Urgent Care at Children's Mercy South which is also not to much farther down the Hwy. off Nall. Children's Mercy is the best but be prepared to wait a while to be seen when you go there. Good luck with your search and welcome to Kansas City!

Lee's Summit Physcians Group is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Sarah Gladstone and Dr. Bryan Phillips. They have urgent care hours everyday and are great with kids and parents!

Welcome to the area! We use Dr. Yanetti at Raintree Pediatrics and love him. Their office is at 150 Highway and Ward Road, which is east of you. I haven't used the other Dr. at Raintree, but really like Dr. Y. The office number there is ###-###-####.

We haven't found a dentist or eye dr. yet (we moved here a year ago from PA)

We have an awesome Pediatritian in Lee's Summit, Dr. MacEntire at Preferred Pediatrics. They also have a couple extra doctors and hours you can bring your kid when they're sick, that day instead of waiting until you can get an appt.

Lee's Summit Physicians Group off of Blue Parkway if a great place. They also have urgent care everyday day of the week so when you can't get an appointment.

I know for an eye doctor the place I loved was actually going to Children's Mercy Hospital to the clinics there...the eye doctors are awesome!!! Actually I think they have clinics for all the things you are looking for

Dr. Yanette at Raintree Pediatrics is the best.

KC pediatrics in St. Joseph Hospital is good and we have Dr. Dattel. For a dentist Dr. Phillip Lile off of Redbridge. He has a great sense of humor and the kids love him. I have been going there since I was a teen and whole family still goes there. They are both in Missouri and close to Grandview.

I highly recommend Dr. Kurt Aarons for a pediatric dentist. My oldest is 7 and has been going to Dr. Aarons since he was 3. He and my daughter (4 years old) love going to the dentist. Dr. Aarons is great with the kids and the parents and the hygienists are great too. We really like our pediatrician too. We use Dr. Moylan at pediatric associates. Good luck!

My kids both go see Dr. Megan Loeb at the Childcare Limited Pediatrics at 1004 Carondelet Dr Ste 350, KC, MO. It's at St. Joseph's hospital doctors building at State Line and 435. Any of the doctors in the clinic are excellent. I really like all of them and the clinic has all day walk-in hours which is a plus with sick kids.

If it wouldn't be to far to go to Lee's Summit. The Lee's Summit Physicians Group is great. They have urgent care hours as well as regular appointment hours which is very nice to have. They are located off Colbern and 50 Hwy. Hope this helps.
