Looking for Good Size 6 Diapers

My son has just outgrown size 5 diapers and we had been faithful users of the Kirkland brand at Costco. Alas, they don't make size 6. I'd love to keep buying diapers there, but the only size 6 they carry is Huggies Snug n Dry (with Mickey and Minnie) and so far I'm not in love. What size 6 diapers do you recommend for a tall, skinny, active boy? I'd love to save money, so if you know of any secrets, please do tell. Thanks!

What can I do next?

When my son went to 6's, I had to switch to the good night diapers. They are so expensive!!!! I started potty training about 6 months later because I couldn't stand how much money I was spending on diapers! He was about 2 1/2 when I potty trained him, and did it in 3 days!

My son wears a 6 and has for some time. I detest the huggies...they never fit him right. I almost always use pampers. The cruisers fit better for an active child, but the baby dry are almost as good. I just wish I could still find the size 7s on the shelf. Actually, really I wish I could just get him potty trained, but that's another topic entirely.....LOL

My sister (mother of 4) recommended Luvs to us long ago - and we are really pleased! We, too are former Kirkland users, but now use Luvs size 6. They are made by Pampers manufacturers, so fit similarly, but are less expensive.

The Kirkland Signature brand is made by the same company that makes Huggies diapers. My hubby works there, and they are the same diaper. Anyway, we like Huggies size 6 diapers. I have also heard good things about Target brand diapers.

My son turned 3 in August and I have found a size 7 diaper made by Pampers. They are great.

I'm in the same boat right now, but the only advice I can give is stay away for the Toy R Us/Especially for baby brand. They are like a cardboard box! My daughter was uncomfortable with them and a boy would be more so with all their "stuff" down there. Good Luck!

Pampers is the best and can be a real good deal when combining sales and coupons. As far as store brands we really like the Target brand and I THINK they have size 6. I should add too that if you are going for size 6 in a store brand, size 5 in Pampers is probably just fine. Seems like when we buy store brand, it's better to go a size up especially if borderline on sizes.

We are not to size 6 yet, but have recently tried the Target brand diapers. My nurse at the peds office recommended them, as her daughter swears by them. So far, they are good diapers. I love the price too. A jumbo pack of Pampers run around 18 dollars here. The jumbo pack of Target brand is around 11 dollars.
