Looking for Family Physician in Either KS or MO

I'm looking for a general practitioner for my family, either in the Johnson County area, or Kansas City, Missouri, area preferably in Jackson County, south of the river and either off the Plaza, near Brookside or Waldo areas. A practice near St. Joe's on Stateline would be fine as well. I'm not looking for a pediatrician, we use Cradle through COllege Care on Stateline, more of a Family Physician for my husband and I.

I currently have a family physician but they are located in Olathe, which is over 30 mins from our home.

What can I do next?

I use Dr.Kurt Metzl with Cradle through College Care(C3), who is located at St. Joseph's Hospital. I have been pleased. It is a large office and I would recommend any of the physicians in the practice. I don't know if he is taking new patients at this time. ###-###-####

Pamela Crifasi is awesome. I dont' know if she practices in MO or not but I see her in Olathe.

Dr. Deborah Manning off of Blue Ridge Blvd, is a great Family Physician. She is located in the Blue Ridge Bank building, her practice is just called Manning Family Practice.

We take both of our kids to Kansas City Pediatrics in the Carondelet Health Center at St. Joe's hospital. We love Dr. Dattel and they have a new pediatrician named Dr. Carl that we've seen a couple of times and we love him too. The entire staff, including nurse practitioners are wonderful. We just saw them today as a matter of fact and my daughter had a double ear infection. They sent us home with samples of the antibiotic so we didn't have to go to the pharmacy. (She was in a lot of pain) They also have very convenient urgent care hours. Highly recommended!

I would agree with Blythe. Brookside Family Medicine is awesome, you never have to wait, and Dr. Killen is wonderful! The number for the office is 816/523-9355.
