Looking for Family Friendly Restaurants Gorham NH Area

I think you'll have better luck driving to Berlin or even just eating in Conway or N Conway.. There's a spaghetti restaurant on the main road in N Conway ( instead of taking the right on 16 to get to StoryLand, go straight, it's on the right not far up.. there's a couple places down that road that aren't bad.. DD's is there too. Nothing is cheap to eat up there. Or even just stop at the supermarket and buy stuff when you getup there. that would be the cheapest.

First I want to wish you a whole bunch of fun. We go up to Storyland every year for the weekend and the kids really love it. We usually eat at resturants off of 16. There are so many in Conway, North conway area. As far as price everything is pretty much pricy for someone on a budget, but it is a mini vacation so we take advantage.
We ALWAYS eat at the Yankee Smokehouse. You can take a look at their site at www.yankeesmokehouse.com They have a outdoor area next to the resturant where you can order takeout and sit in the pic-nic tables. There is a little stream there and a place when the kids are finished to run around. It is a great place. We have also eaten at the speg. house, fire 21 Pizza, and Mario's. I hope this helps.

We go up to Storyland a few times a year and just got back from our second trip this past Sunday. We also have a 6-yo and a 3.5 yo. So we are also into kid-friendly restaurants. Our favorites are Muddy Moose in Conway, right on Rte 16 and The Red Fox Restaurant which is about 1.5-2 miles beyond Storyland on Rte 16 in Jackson. If you are around for Sunday brunch, The Red Fox is the best. $7.95 for an elaborate buffet brunch and only $3.95 for kids under 4 yo. Have Fun.

I stayed up in Gorham many years ago as well. I do remember a Dunkin Donuts up there on the main street that goes through Gorham. There is a pizza place also on the main street (can't remember the name) but it's a pretty big place and I know the locals go there (my sister taught in Gorham about 25 years ago so I don't remember much) as well as a breakfast place right on the main street near the park. Just eat at places where you see alot of people parked - it's usually a good sign that it's a good restaurant and has always worked out well for my family. Have fun!
