Looking for Excellent Internist and Neurologist in I-10 West Area?
Does anyone here have an Internist and also Neurologist you can recommend? I need the Internist as I am tired of driving to the Med.Center. My MIL needs a very good Neurologist as she has just moved here from Chicago and has history of stroke.
Thanks!

Dear S.--I don't have the name of an internist, but I know an excellent neurologist in the Memorial City Hospital complex. Her name is Joann Kim. She saw my MIL through viral meningitis and Alzheimer's, and the thing that I really appreciated about her is that she would take the time to answer all our questions--even calling us on the phone and talking for 30 minutes at a time (at NO CHARGE!!!). I have recommended her to many others. I don't think your MIL will be disappointed.

I can recommend Dr. Doshi (Internist)and Dr. Rossi (Neurologist) and they are both located at Memorial Hermann Memorial City at I-10 and the Beltway. I see Dr. Doshi and my husband who has had a stoke a few years ago sees Dr. Rossi. Both have the best bedside manners.
Dr. Doshi is with PrimeCare Medical and his number is ###-###-#### and Dr. Rossi's number is ###-###-####

Another excellent neurologist is Dr Jose Diaz.
(referred to us by Dr Gary Kraus,Neurosurgery).
Dr Diaz is very personable. He has 2 offices: Park Grove ###-###-#### (near Mason & Kingsland), and Gessner ###-###-####. Dr Diaz is awesome!

I live in the Heights and go to Memorial Hermann at Memorial City because I love my doctors. Dr. Hope and Dr. Toma are both internists. I can't recommend a good neurologist but I know my grandmother sees a neurologist at Memorial Hermann as well and she also has a history of strokes. I am sure either Dr. Hope or Dr. Toma could give you an excellent reference.
