I have 2 small kids and we have the Graco double stroller. We just sold our single stroller w/car seat & base-but I'd like to have a light weight single, easy to use stroller for when I go out w/just one of the kids. I'd prefer it to have a sun shade and some kind of under the seat basket; but I'm open. Any suggestions???

Check out babies r us. I've got two lightweights that I bought from there. Both with shades, one with a mesh bag that hangs off the back (truly an umbrella), and another with a basket and shade, but folds up really compact. Both were under $30 (ea).

I have the MacClaren (sp?) Volo umbrella stroller. I would recommend it to anyone. It's easy to fold up, slide in to the car, unfold, etc... My Mother-in-Law purchased it for me at TJ Maxx because it was last year's model (cheaper price!!). You may want to keep your eye on places like that for a good deal. Good luck!!
