Looking for Dr Affiliated w/Scottsdale Healthcare North Who Will Do a VBAC

Dr. Brass Jones does VBACs, although she is affiliated with Banner Gateway. I had a VBAC with her two years ago (and also had an epidural) and will be having my second VBAC with her this fall. I HIGHLY recommend her. Her practice is call Center for True Harmony, so check out the website.

Try Dr. Gregory Desanto at Camelback Women's Health. Not sure how he handles VBACs, but he's been my doctor for years and delivered my daughter and I absolutely love him. www.camelbackwomenshealth.com

I used Dr. Kathleen Schwartz at Camelback Women's Health. She's great! My first was a c-section due to a breech baby. I was induced with my second so that the baby wouldn't get too big (and risk an eruption)so I could have the V-BAC. I did have an epidermal and all went well. If the doctor feels the baby is too big, they may not want to risk a V-BAC, so that is why many would want to induce.

It is an enormous group of mothers, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, etc., and they can give you TONS of input into care providers.

There are also many wonderful doulas in the area, and all that I know of are VBAC supporters. You can see a bunch of great doulas here:

Dr. Andrew Carter, Valley Obstetrics-Gynecology Assoc., he works out of Scottsdale North and Osborn. Supported my decision to have a VBAC on #2 until the little guy decided to stay in past my due date and grow to a 9 lb baby. We decided the risk of tearing my scar with a large baby was to great so we opted for another C-section. I like Dr. Carter because he gives you all the information, good & bad, and lets you make the decision.
