Help! I am going to have baby #2 in August and love using cloth diapers but don't love washing them. Is there a diaper service in Dallas? When we moved here with my first 2 years ago I couldn't find one.
An alternative question, do you have any suggestions for a resource for buying cloth diapers?

I had asked my doula about a service last summer, and they closed down unfortunately but don't know if a new one opened up. I bought my diapers (Knickernappies/Superdo inserts) online from www.simplecloth.com--no tax, no shipping on orders over $5--and abbyslane.com--no tax, no shipping on orders over $50. I've been very pleased with the change.

Unless you can find an independent mom running her own business it may be hard to find. I know that Metro diaper service closed up 2 years ago when gas prices when nuts! I think they were they only still operatong service in DFW.

Good luck!

A., Way to go with cloth diapering! I started about 6 weeks ago and feel good about the money I am saving, as well as the earth:) I buy all my supplies at babiesbottomsandmore.com--the store is in Farmers Branch. They are very helpful there. The hours are kind of irregular, so be sure to call before you go to make sure they're open. Good luck!

I can't say enough good things about Peppermint Baby Boutique in Richardson. They carry some cloth diapers, covers, and lots of other natural baby products. You can check out their website at www.peppermint.com. I wash my own dipes, but when I was looking into a diaper service earlier this year, there was one called Earth Baby Diaper Service. I found it through the website breesbums.com. Hope that helps.

I didn't use a diaper service with my kiddos, so I can't help you there. But, the diapers I used were the "all-in-one" from www.clothdiaper.com

I loved them!!! They were so easy to wash & take care of...you can order just one to see if you think you'd like them. I also used their flannel wipes....so wonderful!
