Looking for "Computer" - "Attachment" for Computer - or "Video Systems" for t.v.

We have a 4 y.o. daughter and I have been thinking about some kind of good system that either stands alone or attaches to our computer - or even the t.v. - sorry if it seems that I don't know what I'm asking for - smile - I don't - I haven't looked and am not really sure what's out there - thought I'd turn to the experts first before I wasted time at the store and made myself overwhelmed w/ the process of researching everything - thanks!

What can I do next?

The V-smile is a great eucational and fun system. If you are looking in for a family style entertainment system I would suggest the Nintendo Wii. There are a lot of great games available for it- including all of the Gamecube games.
My 4yr old little girl has been playing the Playstation 2, XBOX and XBOX360 since she was 2 years old. She also plays the Nintendo DS. She is also fairly adept at playing on the NickJr website online. But then again my husband and I are avid "gamers", and I work in Gamestop. She has grown up around it. If you have an wuestions about age appropriate titles for any of those systems feel free to ask.

R.M,

My 4 year old nephew has the V-Smile. He likes it, but when he saw my son's Nintendo game cube, he loved that as well. They do sell age appropriate games for the game cube, Disney and Nickelodeon..............Good luck!!

My 3 yr old and 4 yr old love the V-Smile. Hooks to your TV but all the games have the educational piece and the games acan be bought for different age groups. Good system for the money.

I suggest a V-Smile video game system. I have one for my 3yo and she loves it. It hooks up to your TV the same way an Nointendo or Playstation does. They have different levels of games for different age groups. It took my daughter 2-3 months before she got the hang of using the controller, but once she figured it out, she can now play any game for her age group pretty easily.
