does anyone know of some good consignment stores for children's clothing and toys
I can recommend 2 here in Broward county: Kids n Kribs 1051 NE 45th Street (aka Floranada Rd) Fort Lauderdale ###-###-#### and Diva Kids 6904 Cypress Rd Plantation ###-###-####. Both family-owned by same family and in business over 17 years. You will not be disappointed :) Huge selection of children's items and teen clothing, name-brand and designer, nearly new and priced to sell, cribs, baby equipment, books........friendly atmosphere.
Is your child male or female? Inquiring because I have female clothes and toys I have just (past weekend) boxed up to give to goodwill. My dtr is 22 months. But to answer your question, unofrtunately I do not know of any consignment shops.
There's a store called Kids Consignment. (5004 NE 15 Ave. Ft. Lauderdale 33334) Its located off of Commercial Blvd. and NE 17th Ave(which turns into Coral Ridge Isle Dr.)-the store is on the right. They have-or use to have-really good deals on clothes and toys-and especially cribs. The owner manufactures cribs in Canada and brings them down here to sell for whatever it costs them to make it-AKA-Cheap! They don't sell dingy or stained clothes. The ladies there are very helpful and nice. Hope this helps.

There is a really good one on Broward Blvd, just east of University. There is another on near Babies R Us in Boca on the east side of the road right before you get there. I am going to a new one with a friend not next week but the week after right close to our house I'll call you and let you nkow how it is after I check it out.

There's Kidz to Kidz on 441 and Sandalfoot, and a *wonderful* consignment store in Miami called The Children's Exchange (Sunset Drive East of US1), which is well worth the trip.
htis is not much help, but I was also looking for a shop a while back and I asked the mothers in Gabe's swim class. They told me about a shop in Pembroke Pines. I think it was on Hiatus between Pines and Griffin. I don't know the name of it though and I never went to look for it.
