My 18 month old sits at a table with chairs at his school, but he sits in a high chair at home. He's fine during the main meals, but he doesn't want to sit there at snack time. He has decided to pull our ottoman (which glides so it's not too safe) over to the coffee table and sit there to eat his snacks. It's pretty cute how he came up with the idea to do that on his own. He's so good at sitting there (better than in a high chair), but I can't seem to find a child sized table with chairs that doesn't cost a fortune. Even at Target the prices are expensive. Does anyone know where I can find an inexpensive but good set? I'm really not wanting to go over $100, but I haven't found anything for less than that yet.

I got a cute little tikes table/chair set through Walmart's online shopping. It was $29. At the time I got free shipping to the store, I'm not sure about now. It is a good sturdy plastic set that works great with little art projects or snacks. It is nice because if the art project gets too messy, I take the table outside and hose it down!
The roomstore off of Cooper in Arlington by the parks mall had great ones. We bought a table and two chairs set made of oak wood for $50. My son could not be happier with it he uses it to color, eat and play board games.
I've been looking for a similar set lately and there are lots of options under $100 out there. Look at Toys R Us website - they have a lot ranging from $30 up. You might need to call the store to make sure they have the one you want, but you should be able to find something that meets your budget with no problem.
