Looking for Announcement Info

Hello Mom's,

I am looking for a great website where i can print off my BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT cards that is for a good deal. My husband and I want to not just have the typical announcements and we were looking if anyone had any advice on where you can find a good deal! Thank you in advance!

Hi M.,

You can try Storkie.com, I found that to be the best one for me. I'm going to attache the link for you.

If you are interested I can do pretty much the same as that site for about half the price if you are interested.
You can email me at ____@____.com://www.storkie.com/c-64-photo-announcements-ba.aspx

Hope this helps!

I just ordered mine from www.peartreegreetings.com. They are beautiful and I found them very reasonable. My husband is a graduate student and Im a SAHM so we didn't have a lot of room in the budget. I was VERY pleased with the value!

I've used kimsphotocreations.com. LOVE HER WORK! Used her for announcements and 1st bday cards.

Hello M.,
I'm currently living in Bali - Indonesia. I'm supporting a group of local women (they have to finance the all family including their children, parents and grandparents with an average income 70$ per month each..which is nothing even here on the paradise island).
they make great cards using local fabric ..sort of batik with beads. I think they are really pretty, elegant and different from the usual card.
my purpose is to help them and not to make any profit....I consider this a sort of fair trade. If you are interested just let me know..I'll forward a picture to you.
anyway...happy birthday to you!!!M. (____@____.com)

Hey M. -
Lots of people have had great suggestions. My friends have used most of the ones that others have listed. My only complaint was that two of my friends used Peartree and though the announcements were cheaper then many, the quality was also cheaper. The pictures turned out grainy and so did the colors and one friend was disappointed about the quality. Maybe the images weren't as clear as they thought they were when they uploaded them. I don't know what happened.

Here's where I eventually got mine and I have no complaints. www.simplytoimpress.com
The best thing is that you can print on both sides which really helped me since I had lots of pics I wanted to include and this allowed me to include another pic and message on the back.

Here's another site that has lots of independent designers with unique designs (like on etsy) but a little pricy. www.minted.com

Here's one other that has super cute designs (but pricier). http://www.smallfri.com/
I loved their designs but a lot of them are squares and squares require more postage if they're in a square envelope so it made the postage more as well.

Good luck.

You should try Snapfish.com

They are really affordabele & you can just upload a picture of your newborn & they have tons of dfferent cards.

Hope this helps ..

I went to the card shop and found a really nice one then copied it for my first born (a girl). I was lucky my husband is a printer so he had the shop make them up for us. I still have one if you want me to scan it and send it too you.
With my third son I bought the Hallmark card program, custom designed them and printed them out on decorative paper. It was cheap and came out beautiful.
Hugs,
T.

I USED SHUTTERFLY FOR MY ANNOUNCEMENTS. THE ONES I ORDERED WERE I THINK $0.56 AND I PUT 9 PICTURES ON THEM. THEY CAME OUT REALLY CUTE AND EVERYONE LOVED THEM. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/birth-announce...
