Looking for an Old Flannel Nightgown

Hello Ladies, I found out today that I am responsible for making my daughters costume for the school production of ANNIE next Tuesday. I have looked everywhere for a flannel granny nightgown that I can work with to make a suitable orphan costume. Does anyone have any idea where I can find one? They are a scarce commodity to be had around here. Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Hello Ladies, I want to thank everyone for their responses to my costume delima. I found some flannel nightgowns online but they would not delivered in time for the performance; so I ended up putting my packing on hold and made one myself. I appreciate all the help and I sure hope that Tennessee has awesome moms like all of you!!! Thanks Again

Hi K. -- try the mens department. You might be able to use the shirt from a pajamas set. Good luck!

Have you tried Sears or Pennys?

Your best bet will probably be a thrift store. There are Salvation Army and Goodwill stores all over the metroplex. Another good store is CCS Resale in Lewisville or The Colony. The Medina Children's Home also has some thrift stores in the area. ARC has one in Bedford/Hurst. Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Volunteers of America, Disabled Veterans ...

Go to Goodwill or Salvation Army. I'll bet you'll find one.

Remember Lanz of Salzburg nightgowns? These were flannel and cute. You can get them on-line too as I don't know who sells them locally.

You might try searching Lanz or Lantz or Lanz of Salsburg. I have a flannel nightgown from them and they make the flannel plaid nightgowns. That's the brand that makes them, I'm not sure if they still make them.
