Looking for After School or Weekend, Reasonably Priced Youth Programs.....

I want to get my girls into dance, but am looking for the most affordable approach. The kind of dance I'm interested in is tap. I work full time so weekend classes would be my preference, but could work a couple of weekdays into my busy schedule.

What can I do next?

Check out SAS Dance in Gilbert. There website is www.sasdance.com

I have not actually been there, but have heard good things about them. I know that they have a few Saturday classes and that is why I was interested in their studio. Good luck.

Another mom on mamasource told me about this website called www.azactivekids.com and it is an awesome site!! It has anything you are looking for in regards to keeping your little ones busy. They have dance, gymnastics, sports, everything. Hope this helps

I take my daughter to a great dance school in Gilbert called Dance Element (Val Vista/Ray). She takes a combo tap/ballet class on Saturday mornings that is geared for her age group. She's 4 1/2. The cost is $42/month which works out to $10.25 per class. My daughter loves it so much that she wakes up in the morning asking if it is dance class day. You will have to pay a 1 time $10 registration fee when you first start. I think it is reasonable and I get to see her participate since I'm a full time working mom too. Oh, I think there is a slight discount if you have more than 1 child, but you'd have to check. Good luck!

Hi E., My daughterwent tp Paula CArr DAnce Academy in Scottsdale Hayden and Osborn area, I know it's a little further than you wanted but teachers are really great. I know she offers a sat calss for Ballet/tap I think at 11:00 (?) Google her it'll bring up her web site as well as all info you'll need. Every year they do a dance recital, which is GREAT.
