Looking for a Wonderful Counselor or Therapist

I am looking for a professional to talk to. I would prefer someone who has Christian values and beliefs. I am married, in my early fifties, with three grown sons. I have seen counselors throughout my life, some great, some not so great. I have recently lost my Mom, and have alot of past issues that I would like to speak to someone about. I have recently met with a couple of different therpaists over the last couple of years and felt that I just did not connect with them. I was hoping that someone could recommend a counselor that they have experience with. Someone who has experience and wold be loving, trusting and compassionate...

What can I do next?

L.,

I'm not sure where you live exactly, but I would highly recommend Dr. Kevin Bucher in Rockwall. He's very easy to talk to and very understanding. Here's his information:

Dear L., please give Mark Felber a call. My situation was very similar to yours and I now live each day in peace and serenity, free of the issues that had affected me most of my life. I am a little older than you and had also seen a number of different therapists with whom I either could not connect or went through the therapy without achieving the peace, understanding and acceptance for which I was starving. Mark has a wealth of experience and is one of the most compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental people on this planet. He is trustworthy and kind and absolutely knows his stuff. He was able to bring me through a lifetime of hurt and painful issues including grief counseling. Another direct benefit of my emotional healing is increased physical health. It was a process and a journey that wasn't necessarily what one would consider "fun" but worth every second. Please please give yourself this gift. Mark can be reached at ###-###-####. He also has a website that provides information about the types of counseling he does as well as a way to contact via email. I salute you for seeking the help you know you need and will be praying for you. Happy Mother's Day!

Hi L.
I highly recommend that you call Susan Ellis. She is a fabulous therapist!. I started going to her 8 years ago. She is very understanding, a fabulous listener and really offers great advice to help you work through your dilemmas. I have never felt judged or rushed to work stuff out. Her number is ###-###-####.
You are going to be ok and I am glad that you are seeking someone to help you work through it all.

Hi L.

While I am not a therapist or counselor, my best work is wholistic and emotional. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic (don't let that deceive you!) who specializes in assisting others on a path of heart and healing, on all levels. I can also recommend two very good counselors if you would like. Please feel free to call my office where I can give you their numbers and a bit of info about them both. We all have neuroemotional complexes from the past that must be released in order for us to fulfill our purpose and be free to glorify God by living our best life. I encourage you to travel within and connect with your highest and best expression of the child of God that you are.

My office number is ###-###-####. Whether you choose to seek assistance in my office or the counselors I recommend, you will not be disappointed. Whatever you choose, God goes with you.

Blessings,
Dr. J. R.

Hi L. - I'm so sorry for your loss. :( Last summer/fall I needed some counseling and I went to see Deborah Kabrane. She is in Plano and is a Christian. I LOVE her!!! Her website is www.myplanocounselor.com. She helped me tremendously. Good luck!
