Looking for a Tailor in Arlington
I am looking for a tailor in North Arlington (anything past Pioneer Parkway). I pass by a couple on my way home, but would prefer to work with someone that's recommended. I want someone who can tailor suits, jeans, dresses, etc.
So What Happened?™
Thanks to all! My husband and I are going to try Mom's and Anna's--based on convenience between work and home. I appreciate your suggestions!

Fair warning...it's always the little shady looking places that do the best job! I have had great luck with a little place near Arlington Memorial, but can't for the life of me tell you what the name is! It's in the shopping center where the Hispanic food store is, near the compass bank. I've also had good luck with the tailor at the corner of cooper and lamar, next to Big lots. Once again, couldn't tell you the name.

There's one off of Cooper and Pioneer (?) or maybe Park Row (?). I'm sorry I can't remember the streets, but the name is Mom's Alterations and that's where I go. "Mom" did my wedding dress (which was perfect!), pants, shirts, and a bridesmaid dress for my BF wedding and my husband's suit. I highly recommend Mom's!

I work in the bridal industry, and my clients tell me that Mom's Alterations is excellent for every type of clothing.
Hope that helps!

I have used several in North Arlington. The best and cheapest and quickest around is in a dirty laundry mat off Sanfofd and Fielder Rd. I will not bring my children anywhere near it!
A.'s Tailor Loft is good on Randol Mill and Davis, and so is the one located in the Tom Thumb shopping center off Fielder and Randol Mill. Both are very reasonable and clean.
I hope that helped!

My dad goes to one off Arkansas/New York, I don't know the name but he said it has a sign that advertises to hem pants at an incredible $4! He says they do great work and you can't beat the price! Good luck. He just mentioned this to me at church on Sunday, so I don't know first hand. However, he's been going there a long time and is pleased.

My best friends mom is a tailor her business is right out of her home and she is located off of Mayfield Rd. She is truly awesome she made my best friends wedding dress when she got married and she made all the bridesmaids dress too. I have some pictures if you want to see them. I am very short so she tailors all of my pants for me because I can't seem to find pants short enough for me. Let me know if you want her info and some pictures.
